• MN ER Physician Job: Minnesota physician job opportunity for a BC/BE Family Practice physician.  Located just west of the Twin Cities, this location is commutable from the western suburbs of the Twin Cities.

• Practice: Job entails working one 24-hour Saturday or Sunday in the ER every two out of three weekends.  In addition, this physician would be regularly scheduled to work 4 out of 5 weekdays in an Urgent Care clinic setting, from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (10 hours/day).  Paid on a per-shift basis for the Saturday/Sunday 24-hour ER shifts, but would be paid on a production basis for the Urgent Care Clinic work on weekdays, based upon generated work RVU's times an RVU conversion factor.  Physician would also be covering the ER during these weekday daytime Urgent Care Clinic times, and would also be paid on production basis for any weekday daytime ER patients he/she sees and treats.
• Compensation: The annualized production-based compensation for the Urgent Care Clinic/daytime ER to be approximately $130,000 (based upon an average of 4 weekdays/week), and the compensation for the weekend ER work (one 24-hour shift in two out of three weekends) to be approximately $68,000, for a total of about $200,000/year.  There is also the opportunity to pick up some additional weeknight ER shifts from time to time.  Also allowance for up to six weeks vacation/CME time/year, which will be paid at the physician's average earning rate per week.    Top of Page
