Practice includes 4 clinic days per week Call is minimal, depending upon the type of practice the physician establishes. Internists participate in weekend hospitalist call (approximately one weekend in eight); not required to be on-site.
Expected schedule of 18-25 patients per day.

$160,000, plus signing bonus of $10,000. Option to remain on salary or advance to production-based compensation during second year of practice; production-based compensation in third and following years.

individuals. Many of the patients are African-American,

language interpreters and offer a sliding fee scale for
our uninsured patients to ensure access to health care
services. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
Serve
over 8,500 people yearly making 28,000 visits.
The work week is based on eight-hour days for a total of
32-40 hours weekly.
Physicians are expected to meet productivity benchmarks.
There is no inpatient practice, no OB. Office call is
shared and limited.
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended hours
until 8 pm one day per week, depending upon clinic
location. Position hours are negotiable based on provider
and clinic needs. -
Compensation:
Salary
is competitive within the community health
center arena and is negotiable depending
upon qualifications. Health, malpractice,
disability and life insurance are provided
as are CMES, fees and dues and offer a
section 125 (flex benefit) plan and 403-B
