  • MN Urgent Care Job: Minnesota physician job opportunity for BC/BE Family Practice physicians. Located just west of the Twin Cities with a location commutable from the western suburbs of the Twin Cities.  
  • Lifestyle:  The community is found in a scenic region of central Minnesota, yet has convenient access to the amenities found in Minneapolis-St. Paul. It is a warm, friendly locale with affordable housing, ample recreation and a low crime rate. The community also has one of the best park systems in the region that includes an outdoor aquatic center and indoor recreation center. This charming community is also fortunate to have a great school district and a vibrant business community with many retail, service and manufacturing businesses. The employment market for family members seeking professional positions is normally very active.
  • Practice: It is an integrated hospital-physician practice with a dynamic, growing organization and a long track record of providing quality service to the communities it has served. Weekday shifts are (Monday - Friday) from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  Two physicians are sought, each working 3 days in the Urgent Care Clinic one week, and 2 days in the Urgent Care Clinic the next week.  Each physician would also work one 14-hour weeknight (Monday - Friday) ER shift per week (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.), probably tied in with an Urgent Care Clinic shift, such that the physician would be on site for 24 hours on one of those weekdays. 
  • Compensation: Each physician would be on site either two or three days per week, generating annual compensation of approximately $138,800.  Working some weekend ER shifts would create extra income for an incoming physician.  Top of Page

Urgent Care Clinic hours include M-F, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Sat/Sun/Holidays, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Work hours include approximately 31-35 patient contact hours per week, with a mixture of day/evening/weekend shifts.  There is no call.  Facilities are equipped with lab, X-ray, and MRI/CT on site with easy access to sub-specialists.
  • Compensation: This practice opportunity offers an hourly rate of pay of $80 for day shift; and $90/hour for evening and weekend shifts.
